Bali Photo Diary 1

Here are some pictures that I want to share with you of my trip to Bali, Depansar.
It's my second time there and everything has changed since. (I was only 7 back then hehe!)
Kuta Beach was quiet and not as busy (major traffic jam!) as it is now.
The people there has super pro driving skills.
Roads are half the size of Perth's and they still manage to make it a two way road! *faints*
What makes it worst for me, considering that I'm not the best driver in the world is, the amount of motorbikes on the road that 'swoof' past me every second- I have to keep telling myself that I'm in ASIA.
I'm from Asia too but everything here's really different from where I came from.
The weather did not helped at all (monsoon season)- rained rained rained x100000 times.
How am I suppose to walk around and take nice pictures? =.=''

Anyway, back to the topic.
First stop in Bali is Jatiluwih and Bedugul where it's famous for their golden and green (in December) rice terrace aka. paddy fields.

Then we went to Art Market (too busy shopping hence, no pictures. hehe!) and stopped by Lake Bratan where it started pouring rain.
Rented an umbrella because the rain was too heavy I couldn't open our eyes (I AM SERIOUS!)
Foggy mountains surrounding the Lake.
Some colors to cheer me up from the moody weather!
Then, it's lunch time at Metari Restaurant.
Buffet lunch that charges 20% tax!
Sigh.

Chicken Satay, Fried Noodles, Fried Rice, Omelet, Fried Chicken, Spring Rolls, Vegetables and Coconut Chicken.

Big Fat Fresh Coconut Juice yum yum yum. :) Something I can't get in Perth!
Desserts! Pandan Cake and Fried Banana with pudding.

Cancelled the tour to Monkey Temple, Botanical Garden, Taman Ayun Temple and Butterfly farm because it was raining and some areas were flooded.

Slept through the journey back to the Villa (for an hour thanks to the traffic + rain.)

Will update tomorrow on my second and third day there!
:)
